The woman's problem is that she bought an expensive bus ticket, but the appointment was cancelled, but she can't refund it. I think the woman should go to art museum rather than go to waterfall by alone. First, she can study art. There are half of exhibitions in the art museum, so she can observe works long and detail. It is better to look around the whole museum in one day. Second, it is too cold to go hiking. She can't enjoy hiking very well because of the bad weather

The professor lectures on two different ways that children make mistakes when they are learning. First, children generalize too much. For example, when a child sees a horse and asks their parents "what is that" and the parents teach them "it is a horse" and then when children see another animals with 4 legs, they might generalize too much and think that it is a horse too. Second, children also make words too specific. The professor gives example about her daughter. The professor gave her daughter a doll. And one day, her friend came to her house and brought another doll. The daughter refuse that her friend's doll is a doll, because she was too specific about the word, "doll"

The professor lectures on the methods she used to teach her daughter to draw properly. She states that at first, her daufgter could barely even hold the markers or crayons. So, anytime her daughter made a mark where she was supposed to, the professor praised her. However, she wouldn't say nothing when her daughter drew something in an improper location. The daughter, realizing she wasn't drawing properly, tried to draw better. The professor was using shaping, a psychological approach that sets small goals for children. When the child accomplishes a goal, the parent praises the child. When the child fails, the parent says nothing. The professors did this. She also set higher goals for her child, by then having her use proper colors. For example, when her daughter drew a tree trunk the right color, the professor praised her. If her daughter colored it improperly, she'd say nothing.
